Privacy
Only product catalog data is ever sent to your provider, and you choose which fields. Customer, order and payment data never are.
Data Sent to Your Provider
Tick the Product Fields to share. The product name is always sent. Uncheck anything you don't want shared with your AI provider. Usage caps are on the AI Connector tab.
| Field | Sent by default |
|---|---|
| Product name | Always |
| Product type | Yes |
| Categories | Yes |
| Tags | Yes |
| Attributes | Yes |
| Existing short description | Yes |
| Existing long description | Yes |
| SKU | No |
| Price and currency | No |
More fields give the AI more facts to work with. Text is sent without HTML or shortcodes, and unsaved edits to the name and (when allowed) the descriptions are used instead of the saved values.
Never sent
- Customer, order or payment data.
- Private product data other than the fields above.
- Your API key goes only to its provider (for Custom endpoint, only to the host it was saved for). It's encrypted on your server and never sent to the browser.
Your provider's policies
Data you send is handled under your AI provider's terms. Check whether your provider uses API data for training (most business APIs don't by default), and mention the provider in your privacy policy if you send any personal data in product content.
Logs
With Log Provider Errors on, only the error type, provider, model and HTTP status are written to WooCommerce → Status → Logs. Never product content or keys.
Deactivation survey
If you submit the optional survey when deactivating, your answer, plugin and software versions, language and site address are sent to Siteryn; your email only if you tick the box.
