Variation descriptions

  • Generate and Rewrite current under a variation's description
  1. Open the variation

    Product data → Variations → expand a variation.

  2. Generate

    Under its description: AI variation description: Generate or Rewrite current. "Suggestion inserted into the field above. Review it, then save."

  3. Save changes

    Click WooCommerce's Save changes.

It uses the parent product's data plus the variation's options (for example "Size: Large, Color: Blue") and writes 1–3 sentences of plain text. Rewrite current needs existing text: "There is no existing text to rewrite yet."

Category descriptions

  1. Edit a category

    Products → Categories → Edit a category (not on the Add form).

  2. Generate

    AI description: Generate or Rewrite current fills the Description field.

  3. Update

    Review it and click Update.

It sends the category name, its parent, product count and up to ten published product names. The description is about half your Long Description (words) target (at least 60 words), in paragraphs, with at most one bullet list when Description Formatting allows lists. Many themes show it at the top of the category page.

Variation and category generation use your site or WPML/Polylang language and the default settings; the brand voice, template and keyword options aren't applied to them.
