Turn the assistant into a shop assistant: smarter search, ready-made product lists, sizes and colours, a cart summary, side-by-side comparisons and back-in-stock emails.
- Product cards in a carousel
- Category buttons and the cart summary
Smart search
"snekers" or "jaket" are matched to the closest words in your categories, tags, brands and attributes. Runs on your server against your own catalog words, at no AI cost.
Off, Only when few products match (fewer than 3), or For every message. Your AI provider translates the request into your catalog's terms (synonyms, other languages, intent such as "gift for a runner"). Each expansion is one extra, short request with the shopper's message (contact details removed), your category names and the conversation's earlier search words.
How many recently shown products stay available, so "tell me more about the second one" or "compare them" works.
Attribute Matching ranks products with the requested values ("red", "XL", "cotton") first, using your global attributes (Products → Attributes) and products' own options. Variation Picks: "a red hoodie in XL" shows the matching in-stock variation with its own price (and image), and the button adds exactly that variation, or reads "Choose options" when it can't be added from the chat. Send Available Options to the AI includes each variable product's in-stock option values (e.g. sizes in stock) in the catalog data.
Product lists
Sale, New, Best Seller and Top Rated Lists (on): "What's on sale?", "anything new?", "your best sellers" and "top rated" show the matching products from WooCommerce ("Here are products on sale right now:", "Here are our newest products:", "Here are our best sellers:", "Here are our top rated products:").
Under Preferred Products: featured (or on-sale) products rank higher among equally good matches.
Categories (with their sub-categories), and Products (IDs or SKUs), comma separated (e.g. 123, SKU-456). For gift cards, samples or spare parts: the assistant never shows or mentions them, and they stay on sale in your shop.
Product cards & shortcuts
- Show on Cards: Image, Price (with sale badge), Star rating, Stock status (Short description off). Layout: List or Carousel. Custom Add-to-Cart Button Text and Open Products in a New Tab.
- Shop-by-Category Buttons (on) with Categories Shown (6, 1–12): your most popular categories under "Shop by category" when the chat opens; tapping one asks "Show me …".
- "Show More" and "Cheaper" Buttons Under Suggestions (on): they ask "Show me more like these" and "Anything cheaper?".
Cart
- Show Cart Summary After Add to Cart (on): after a shopper adds a product from the chat, "Your cart" with the item count, total, View cart and Checkout appears in the conversation.
- Use the Cart (on): the assistant sees what is already in the cart, avoids suggesting it again and suggests items that go with it. Only product names and categories are sent, never prices paid, quantities or customer details.
- Cross-sells Considered (3, 0–6): how many of the cart items' cross-sells (each product's Linked Products tab) the assistant may suggest. 0 turns this off.
Comparisons
Product Comparison (on): "Compare the X and the Y" shows a table of 2–4 products with price, rating, availability and up to 8 attributes. Override at your-theme/siteryn-ai-support-agent-pro/comparison.php.
Assisted sales
Track Assisted Sales (on) records products shown, added to cart and paid orders (order meta _siteryn_aisup_assisted), shown in Analytics. Revenue counts once the order is paid.
Back-in-stock emails
Back-in-Stock Emails (on): out-of-stock products shown in the chat get a "Notify me when back in stock" button. It asks for Your email ("We'll send one email when it's back in stock, then delete your address.") with Email me when it's back. When WooCommerce marks the product in stock, one email goes out ("… is back in stock at …") and the address is deleted. Out-of-stock products are only shown when Hide Out-of-Stock Products is off (Product Assistant tab). Limits: 5 requests per visitor per hour, 500 per product. Requests are included in WordPress's personal data export and erasure.
