Rules by archive type

Each archive type has a Mode and a Products per Page setting, labelled with its name (for example Product Tags: Mode): Shop Page, Product Categories, Product Tags, Product Attributes, Brands, and Page Builder Grids (mode only; builder grids keep the count set in the builder).

SettingOptions
ModeUse default (the default), Infinite Scroll, Load More Button, Hybrid (scroll, then button), Numbered AJAX Pages, Previous / Next, Load More + Show All, Infinite with Page Markers, Off (normal pagination)
Products per PageDefault 0, range 0–200. 0 keeps your WooCommerce setting. Also the number loaded per request

Rules for specific archives

  • More Archives: switches for tag, attribute and brand archives and page builder grids
  • Rules by Archive Type: a Mode and Products per Page for each archive type
  1. Click Add Rule

Choose an Archive: any category, tag, attribute term or brand, grouped by type with subcategories indented.

  2. Set the mode and count

Loading Mode and Products per Page (0 = use the archive type rule). You can set just one of them.

  3. Order and save

Use Move Up and Move Down, then Save Changes.

Which setting wins

  1. The first matching specific archive rule.
  2. The archive type rule.
  3. The Pagination Style on Pro Features (unless Free Loading Mode).
  4. The Loading Mode on the General tab.

Products per page: the specific rule (if above 0), otherwise the archive type rule, otherwise your WooCommerce setting.

Show your "Sale" category with Numbered AJAX Pages and 48 products, while the rest of the shop scrolls infinitely: add a rule for Sale with Numbered AJAX Pages and 48.
