Coupons
Shoppers apply and remove coupons right inside the cart, guests included, and see the discount and new total straight away.

What shoppers see
- A collapsible "Have a coupon code?" section below the items, only while the cart has items. It opens with a click and stays open when a coupon is applied.
- Shoppers type the code and click the Apply button: it shows "Applying..." then "Coupon applied." The cart and totals refresh without a page reload.
- Errors are WooCommerce's own messages, e.g. Coupon "xyz" does not exist! or a minimum spend notice.
- Applied coupons are listed in capitals with a Remove button ("Coupon removed.").
- Whenever the cart has a discount, the footer adds Discount and Total under the Subtotal, including coupons applied on the cart page or with the field turned off.
Coupons follow every WooCommerce rule (usage limits, minimum spend, allowed emails). Applied coupons stay on the cart even if you later turn the field off.
