Quick start
Five minutes from activation to a cart shoppers can open from anywhere.
1. Choose your cart
General has two sub-tabs:
- Mini Cart: a compact dropdown under the cart icon, great for headers. Choose Hover or Click.
- Side Cart: a full-height drawer, great for mobile and for showing more. Choose Left or Right.
Both are on by default. Pick which buttons to show (View Cart, Checkout, Continue Shopping), change the panel title, button texts, cart icon and style in the same sub-tab, and watch the Live Preview. Colors, font size and animation for every cart are on the Appearance tab.
2. Connect your theme's cart icon
- Header Cart tab
Turn on Replace WooCommerce Header Cart.
- Choose what it opens
Header Cart Action: Mini Cart or Side Cart. The Mini Cart opens on hover or click as set by its Open Type; for the Side Cart, pick a Trigger Mode.
- Save and test
Click Save Changes and open your store. If the icon isn't detected, adjust the Cart Icon Selector; see finding your selector.
- Replace WooCommerce Header Cart turned on
- Header Cart Action and Cart Icon Selector
- Live Preview in the sidebar
3. Set up the floating button
On Floating Cart, keep Enable Floating Cart Button on (it opens the Side Cart), choose a corner and spacing, and set a different corner for phones if your theme has a bottom bar there. Pick its icon, size, colors and shape under Button and Colors & Shape. Turn it off if the header icon is enough.
4. Test it
- Add a product
From a product page and from the shop page. An "Item added to your cart." notification appears and the count updates.
- Open the cart
Change a quantity, remove an item, and check the subtotal updates without reloading.
- Try a phone
The Side Cart fills the screen on small phones.
