Shortcodes
Place a Mini Cart or a Side Cart button anywhere: a header block, a menu area, a widget or a theme template.
Shortcodes
| Shortcode | Shows |
|---|---|
[siteryn_mini_cart] | A cart icon button with its count; the Mini Cart dropdown opens under it (hover or click, as set). Several on one page are fine. |
[siteryn_side_cart] | A cart button with its count that opens the Side Cart (the drawer itself is already on every page). |
Neither takes attributes; they follow your settings. Each shows only while its cart is enabled (Enable Mini Cart / Enable Side Cart). In the block editor, add them with a Shortcode block, e.g. in your header template part. The settings screen's Shortcodes card has a Copy button for each.
In a theme template
<?php
if ( function_exists( 'siteryn_mcsc_mini_cart' ) ) {
siteryn_mcsc_mini_cart(); // or siteryn_mcsc_side_cart();
}
?>
Both print the same output as the shortcodes.
Shortcode or Header Cart?
- Your theme already has a cart icon: use Header Cart to connect it.
- It doesn't, or you want a cart somewhere else: use a shortcode.
To change the markup itself, override the templates from your theme: see Templates.
