Shopping assistant
On WooCommerce stores, the chat helps shoppers find products: it searches your catalog and shows matching products as cards with image, live price, stock and an add-to-cart button.

What shoppers can ask
- Keywords and categories: "running shoes", "something for a laptop". Words are matched against product names, categories, tags, brands and attributes.
- Price ranges: "under 50", "between $20 and $40", "over 100", "max €30".
- Follow-ups: "any cheaper ones?" (below the cheapest shown), "show me more", "the second one".
- Browsing: "what are your best sellers?" or "help me find a gift" lists best sellers.
- Shop questions: shipping, payment and returns are answered from your WooCommerce settings and policies.
The assistant chooses only from products actually found in your catalog, so it never suggests a product that doesn't exist.
Product suggestions
How many matching products are described to the AI so it can pick the best. Higher can match better but sends more data and costs more.
Only suggest products in stock or on backorder.
Product suggestions need the Products source to be allowed under Answer sources.
Product data sent to the AI
Each matching product's name is always sent. Choose the optional fields under Optional Product Fields:

Shopper accounts, email addresses and payment data are never sent.
Product cards
- Image (with a "Sale" badge), name linked to the product, star rating, price, and "Out of stock" / "Available on backorder" when relevant.
- Everything on the card is read live from WooCommerce when shown, never from the AI, and refreshed when history reloads.
- Add to cart works in the chat for simple, in-stock products when WooCommerce's AJAX add-to-cart is on ("Added to your cart." + View cart). Other products show "View product".
