Checkout elements

Split WooCommerce's checkout into elements you can arrange freely: contact, addresses, shipping, payment and the order summary. Payment gateways, express buttons and WooCommerce's live updates keep working.

What every checkout needs

A checkout must collect customer details and take payment. Each Checkout page needs at least one visible element from each group:

Customer fields

Billing Address (modern, split) or Customer Details (classic).

Payment

Payment Methods (modern, split) or Order Review & Payment (classic).

The classic elements render WooCommerce's own grouped templates. They can't be combined with the split elements that show the same fields. Customer Details (classic) conflicts with Contact, Billing and Shipping. Order Review & Payment (classic) conflicts with Payment Methods, Order Items, Totals, Shipping Methods, Terms & Privacy and Place Order Button. In the element picker a conflicting element shows a Swap badge: add it, then remove the old one.
