Quick start
Ten minutes from activation to a published, branded checkout. Start from a ready-made layout, adjust it, preview on every device, and publish.
1. Open the Checkout page in the builder
Go to Siteryn → Checkout → Builder and choose Checkout in the page switcher. The editor opens full screen with your current (default) design.
2. Pick a layout
Click Layouts in the canvas toolbar and choose one:
One page · Two columns
Details and payment on the left, a sticky order summary on the right. A great default.
Multi-step · Two columns
Step 1: contact and addresses. Step 2: shipping and payment.
Custom · Blank canvas
Only the essentials, so you can build your own.
Click the layout's card, then confirm with Use this layout. It replaces this draft's sections but keeps your colours and page settings, and you can undo with Ctrl/⌘ + Z.
- The "Choose a layout" dialog on the Checkout page
- Filter tabs All / One page / Multi-step / Custom
3. Edit elements
- Click anything on the canvas
Its settings open on the right, with tabs such as Content, Layout, Style and Visibility.
- Change the text
For example, set the Place Order note to "Secure checkout. Free returns within 30 days."
- Add an element
Click Trust Badges in the Elements panel, or drag it onto the canvas, and write one badge per line:
Secure Checkout | Your information is safe. - Move things around
Drag with the handle, or use Move up / Move down.
4. Style the page
Click Page settings (or press Esc) and, on the Style tab, set your Accent color, Button color, Card style and Field shape. On the Layout tab, turn on Distraction-free checkout to hide your site's header and footer navigation on Checkout. See Page settings.
5. Preview and publish
- Check every device
Switch the canvas between Desktop, Tablet and Mobile, or click Preview. Sample products are shown; nothing is added to a cart.
- Save Draft
Ctrl/⌘ + S. "Draft saved. Publish to show it on your store."
- Publish
"Published. Your store now uses this design." Open your checkout in a private window and place a test order.
6. Optional: one-click Buy Now
On the One-Click Checkout tab, turn on Show a "Buy Now" button on product pages and save. Shoppers can now go from a product straight to Checkout. See One-Click Checkout.
