The Quick View button doesn't show

  1. Check Enable Quick View and the matching Where to Show setting on the General tab. The main product on a single product page never gets a button.
  2. WooCommerce must be active and 8.0 or newer: see Notices.
  3. Check Hide on phones (Button tab), and with Pro Hide the quick-view button (Triggers & Accessibility tab).
  4. Page builders and custom themes with their own product cards: add <?php siteryn_qv_button(); ?> to the card template, or with Pro use the shortcode.
  5. Clear page, CDN and optimization caches.

The button only appears on hover

Only show on hover stays active after you change the position. Set Position to Icon on the image, turn it off, save, then choose your position again.

No button on products loaded by infinite scroll or filters

Standard WooCommerce cards include the button. Themes with custom cards that rely on automatic placement don't get it on newly loaded cards: add the template tag to the card template. See Products loaded with AJAX.

"This product is not available" or the modal keeps loading

"Sorry, this product could not be added to your cart" on some pages

The page was served from a cache older than 12 hours, so its security token may have expired (tokens last 12–24 hours). Lower your page cache lifetime below 12 hours, or purge it.

Grouped products can't be added

Turn Show quantity field back on (Add to Cart tab); hiding it hides each grouped item's quantity.

Swatches, wishlist or other buttons don't work inside the modal

Many plugins only start on product pages. With Pro, swatches replace other swatch plugins inside quick view. For other plugins, ask their developer to initialise on the siteryn_qv_loaded event.

The button text is in the wrong language

Text settings are stored in the language they were saved in. Edit Button text (Button tab) and Link text (Product Content tab), or translate them with WPML or Polylang string translation.

Pro features don't appear Pro

  1. The License tab must show Active or Active (Lifetime).
  2. The gallery needs Free's Product image on and a product with at least two images; swatches need Show add to cart, and the stepper also needs Show quantity field.
  3. Clear your caches.

Pro settings won't save Pro

Without an active license, the Pro tabs are a read-only preview: controls are disabled and a save returns you to the License tab with "Add your license key to save Pro settings." Activate your license, then save again.

The [siteryn_quick_view] shortcode shows as text Pro

Turn on Enable the [siteryn_quick_view] shortcode (Triggers & Accessibility tab) and check the license is active.

"Siteryn Quick View Pro is almost ready"

Pro needs the free Siteryn Quick View plugin installed and active; the notice's Install Siteryn Quick View or Activate Siteryn Quick View button does it. If WooCommerce is missing, Free's own notice explains it. Pro also shows a notice when Free is older than the version it needs, or when PHP (7.4+) or WordPress (6.4+) is too old.
