Install the Free plugin
- Make sure WooCommerce is active
WordPress won't activate the plugin without it.
- Add the plugin
Plugins → Add New Plugin, search for Siteryn Mini Cart & Side Cart, or upload the zip. Activate it.
- Open the settings
Siteryn → Mini Cart & Side Cart, or the Settings link under the plugin on the Plugins screen. Siteryn → Welcome lists every Siteryn plugin you have installed.
The settings screen
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| General | Mini Cart and Side Cart sub-tabs: turn them on, how they open, width, buttons, text, icon and style. |
| Header Cart | Connect your theme's cart icon. |
| Floating Cart | The sticky cart button: position, icon, size, colors and shape. |
| Appearance | Colors, fonts, cart items and animation shared by every cart. |
| Get Premium | What Pro adds (hidden once Pro is active). |
| System Status | Requirements and environment, for support. |
See The settings screen for the live preview, saving and resetting. Administrators and Shop Managers can use it.
Install the Pro add-on Pro
- Upload Pro next to Free
Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate.
- Activate your license
Mini Cart & Side Cart → License. See Pro & license.
Notices
- PHP or WordPress too old: activation is refused with a notice.
- WooCommerce missing or older than 8.0: "Siteryn Mini Cart & Side Cart is almost ready", with an Install or Activate WooCommerce button. The carts stay hidden until WooCommerce is active.
- A template copy in your theme is outdated: a notice lists it. See Templates.
Deactivating and deleting
Deactivating removes every cart from the storefront and keeps your settings. Deleting the plugin removes its settings. Your WooCommerce cart and orders are never touched.
When you deactivate it on the Plugins screen, an optional survey asks why. Skip & Deactivate sends nothing; Submit & Deactivate sends your answer and comment, the plugin and its version, your WordPress, PHP and WooCommerce versions, the admin language and site address to Siteryn, plus your email only if you tick You may contact me.
