I enabled the Mini Cart but don't see it

The Mini Cart needs a place: connect your theme's icon under Header Cart (Action = Mini Cart), or add [siteryn_mini_cart] to your header. See Where it appears.

  1. Is Replace WooCommerce Header Cart on, and the chosen cart (Mini or Side) enabled?
  2. Does the Cart Icon Selector match your theme? See Finding your selector.
  3. Clear page and CDN caches and any JavaScript optimization (combine or delay JS) that may delay the plugin's script.

The floating button doesn't appear

It needs both Enable Floating Cart Button and Enable Side Cart. With Pro, check Display Rules (hidden on the cart and checkout pages by default).

The cart doesn't update after add to cart

"We could not update that item" with page caching

Cached pages older than about a day carry an expired security token. Exclude cart, checkout and My Account from the cache and keep the cache lifetime under 12 hours, or purge it daily.

The cart opens on the cart and checkout pages

Free shows the carts on every page. Pro's Display Rules hide them there by default; or use the siteryn_mcsc_render_side_cart filter (see Developer guide).

The Mini Cart ignores my Width setting on phones

On screens up to 782 px it's always 360 px wide (92% of the screen if narrower), so it fits.

The Continue Shopping button is missing

It's off by default for the Mini Cart (on for the Side Cart): turn on Show "Continue Shopping" Button on that sub-tab. With Continue Shopping Link set to Custom URL, the Continue Shopping Custom URL must be filled in.

Shadow Style on the Appearance tab has no effect

The panels' shadows come from the Shadow setting on the Mini Cart and Side Cart sub-tabs, and the floating button's from its own Shadow setting on the Floating Cart tab.

The page behind the Side Cart turns white instead of dark

The page overlay uses the Panel Tint Color from the Appearance tab, which is white by default. Lower Page Overlay Opacity (%) on the Side Cart sub-tab, or pick a darker Panel Tint Color (it also tints the panels' background when Panel Opacity is below 100%).

The "−" button stops at 1

Lowering Quantity Below 1 on the Appearance tab is set to Stops at 1: shoppers remove the item with its × link. Set it to Removes the item to let 0 remove it.

Panel titles or button texts don't change with the language

Only the Continue Shopping texts and custom URLs are translatable per language with WPML or Polylang. The panel titles, button texts and empty-cart texts you type are shown as entered in every language. See Multilingual stores.
