Dashboard

Recovery at a glance: how many carts were left behind, how many came back, and the revenue they brought, with a day-by-day chart.

FreeSiteryn → Abandoned Cart → Dashboard
  • Period "Last 30 days" and Apply
  • The metric cards
  • "Abandoned vs recovered" chart

Choosing a period

Pick Last 7 days, Last 30 days (default), Last 90 days or All time in the Period menu and click Apply. Numbers are cached for five minutes and refresh whenever a cart changes.

The metrics

Abandoned carts

Carts that were marked abandoned during the period, whatever happened to them afterwards.

Recoverable carts

Of those, the carts that are still Abandoned or Recovery email sent: carts you can still win back.

Recovered carts

Carts whose shopper came back through the recovery link and then completed checkout during the period, including carts you marked as recovered once their order goes through.

Recovery rate

Recovered ÷ abandoned × 100, to one decimal. Shows "—" when there are no abandoned carts.

Abandoned cart value

The total value of the abandoned carts, including tax and shipping, in your store currency.

Recovered revenue

The order totals of recovered carts. If an order is later cancelled, refunded or fails, its revenue is removed again.

A cart counts as recovered only when the customer opened their recovery link and then completed checkout (or you used Mark as recovered). Customers who came back on their own are not counted, and neither are email security scanners that open links, so the numbers stay honest. The note under the chart says the same: "Recovered means the customer opened their recovery link and then completed checkout. Email opens and clicks are not tracked."

With an active Pro license, two more cards appear: Campaign emails sent and Recovery link clicks. For the full picture, see Analytics.

Abandoned vs recovered

Under the cards, a bar chart compares abandoned carts (indigo) with recovered carts (green):

  • Abandoned vs recovered chart for the last 30 days
  • "Show the data as a table" expanded

Carts in other currencies

If you sell in several currencies, carts in other currencies are counted in the cards but left out of the money totals. A Carts in other currencies card then shows their abandoned and recovered carts and amounts in each currency's own money, for the same period.

Recent activity

Recent abandoned carts

The 5 most recently abandoned carts, with customer, value, how long ago and status.

Recent recoveries

The 5 most recent recoveries, with customer, revenue, when and status.

In Recent recoveries, the value column shows the Order total, or the cart value marked "Cart value, no order yet" while the order is still open. Both lists end with a View all carts link to the Carts tab.

Setup reminders

Empty dashboard?

A brand-new install shows "No abandoned carts yet". Carts appear once a shopper who has given an email leaves one behind for longer than Abandoned After. To see it working right away, follow Try it yourself.
