Pro & license
Pro adds bulk generation with a review queue, brand voice, templates, 35 languages, SEO meta, variation and category descriptions, history and quality checks. It uses the same AI provider and key you set up in Free.
Where Pro's features are
| Where | What |
|---|---|
| Bulk Generate tab | Background jobs for many products |
| Review Queue tab | Approve, edit or reject bulk suggestions |
| Pro Settings tab | Voice profiles, templates, languages, SEO, bulk jobs, review & history |
| Product edit screen | Generation options and content history in the AI box; variation descriptions |
| Products list | "Generate AI content" bulk action and AI content column |
| Product categories | AI category descriptions |
| License tab | Activation and status |
| System Status tab | Pro Version and Pro License (Active or Inactive) cards |
The Pro tabs, each with a PRO badge, sit after Free's tabs in this order: Bulk Generate, Review Queue, Pro Settings, License, then System Status. The Settings link on Pro's row in the Plugins screen opens the License tab.
Pro runs only in wp-admin; it adds nothing to your storefront. The Get Premium tab disappears once the Pro plugin is active, even before you enter a license.
Activating your license
- Install Pro next to Free
Free and WooCommerce must stay active, with your AI provider connected in Free.
- Open License
Paste your key into License key and click Activate (or press Enter): "Pro is active on this site." The key is then shown masked, with Deactivate and Check again.
- Reload the page
Reload once so the Pro tabs unlock, then start with Pro Settings.
- Status pill, renewal date, masked key, Deactivate and Check again
License messages
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| That license key is not valid. | Check for missing characters or spaces. |
| That license key is for a different product. | Use the AI Product Content key. |
| This license is already active on its maximum number of sites. | Deactivate it on another site first. |
| This license has expired. Renew it on siteryn.com. | Renew, then click Check again. |
| Could not reach the license server. Please try again. | Your server couldn't connect to siteryn.com; try again or ask your host. |
| Please enter a license key. | The key field was empty. |
| Activation failed. Please try again. | Any other failure; try again, then contact support. |
Before activation: preview
Without an active license you can still open every Pro tab to see what it does:
- Each Pro tab shows a Pro preview banner, "Activate your license to use this feature", with Activate license and Get a license buttons. Its controls are disabled and it has no Save or Reset to Defaults.
- Pro settings can't be saved ("Activate your license to save Pro settings."), and bulk jobs, approvals and generation can't be started.
- The General tab's sidebar shows a Pro card with an Activate License button.
Free keeps working as before.
License checks & lapses
- The license is checked with siteryn.com twice a day in the background, never on storefront page views. If it can't be reached, the last confirmed status is kept for up to 14 days. Once a known expiry date has passed, Pro switches off right away.
- When the license lapses, Pro's features switch off and running bulk jobs pause ("Paused: the Pro license is not active."). Settings, history and pending suggestions are kept. After renewing, click Check again, then resume your jobs.
- Statuses: Active, Active (Lifetime), Expired, Revoked, Cancelled, Refunded, Not activated on this site, Inactive. Active licenses with an end date show "Renews or expires on …".
Updates
While licensed, Pro updates appear under Dashboard → Updates like any other plugin.
Moving to another site
One license per site. Click Deactivate on the License tab before moving the site; the key stays saved so you can reactivate in one click. Each site address is a separate activation.
Deactivating and deleting Pro
- Deactivating pauses bulk jobs ("Paused: Siteryn AI Product Content Pro was deactivated. Resume it after reactivating.") and keeps everything.
- Deleting removes Pro's settings, jobs, history, pending suggestions and license data. Content already applied to products, and meta saved into Yoast, Rank Math or SEOPress, stays.
