Pro & license
Pro adds advanced SEO, GEO and AEO engines, a site crawler, store tools, reports and optional AI assistance on top of the free plugin. It never replaces your SEO data.
Where Pro tools appear
Pro tools are tabs on the same Siteryn → SEO, GEO & AEO screen, marked Pro:

Requirements
- Siteryn SEO, GEO & AEO (Free) 1.0.0 or newer, active. Without it: "Siteryn SEO, GEO & AEO Pro is almost ready", with an Install or Activate button.
- WordPress 6.4+, PHP 7.4+. WooCommerce is optional; store tools appear only with it.
- No AI provider is needed for any report, check or tool.
Activating your license
- Install Pro
Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate.
- Open License
Pro Settings → License. Paste your key and click Activate: "Pro is active on this site."
- Choose your tools
Open Pro Features and switch on the tools you want (below).
- Status "Active" with renewal date and masked key
- Deactivate and Check again
The license is checked from wp-admin and a daily background task, never when visitors view your site. Only administrators can activate or deactivate it. One license per site: deactivate here before moving Pro to another site.
License states

| Could not be confirmed | The license server hasn't confirmed it for 14 days. Check that the site can make outgoing HTTPS requests. |
| Site address changed | Confirmed for a different address, e.g. a staging copy. Click Check again or activate the key for this address (within your license's site limit). |
| Revoked · Cancelled · Refunded | No longer valid. Contact Siteryn support if unexpected. |
| Not activated | Enter your key and click Activate. |
Pro Features
Choose which premium tools run. Tools that add work or change your pages start switched off.

Pro Features also holds the settings for SEO Insights (stale after), Redirect Manager (automatic redirects) and Site Crawl.
Before you activate
Every Pro tab can be explored as a preview ("Pro preview": "Activate your license to use this feature"), with its controls disabled. A switched-off tool shows "This tool is switched off" with Open Pro Features; its settings are kept.
If a license lapses
- Every free feature keeps working with all your settings and SEO data.
- All Pro features switch off, including what they add to your site: Redirect Manager redirects and automatic redirects, llms.txt, indexing rules, store indexing, advanced templates and schema templates. Free's own redirects keep working.
- Pro settings are kept until you renew.
Deleting Pro
Deleting Pro removes everything it owns: its settings, license, all Redirect Manager redirects and hit counts, reports and history, the crawl, AI keys, usage and cache, and its scheduled tasks. Values you saved into the free plugin's SEO fields stay. Export your redirects first if you may need them.
