Pro & license
Pro turns one reminder into a complete recovery engine: campaigns, coupons, segments, analytics and reports, webhooks, an on-site prompt and AI writing and insights. One license activates it on one site.

Activating your license
- Open the License tab
Go to Siteryn → Abandoned Cart → License. The Pro row on the Plugins screen also has a Settings link that opens it.
- Paste your key
Enter the key from your siteryn.com account in License key.
- Click Activate
You see "Pro is active on this site." and the status Active, or Active (Lifetime), with the renewal date. The Included with Pro card below lists every feature you now have.

Activation messages

| That license key is for a different product. | Use the key for Abandoned Cart Pro. |
| This license is already active on its maximum number of sites. | Deactivate it on another site first, or upgrade your plan. |

| Could not reach the license server. | Your server could not connect to siteryn.com. Try again, or ask your host about outgoing HTTPS. |
License statuses
The status pill in the Pro License card shows one of:

| Active · Active (Lifetime) | Pro features are on. A yearly license also shows "Renews or expires on …". |
| Expired | The license ran out. Renew it to turn Pro features back on. |
| Revoked · Cancelled · Refunded | The license can no longer be used. Contact Siteryn if this is unexpected. |
| Not activated on this site | The key is valid, but this site isn't activated. Click Activate. |
| Inactive | No key, or the status hasn't been confirmed yet. |
The System Status tab also shows a Pro Version card and a Pro License card (Active, Expired, Missing or Not checked yet). It reads the saved status and never contacts the license server.
Moving to another site
A license works on one site at a time. Click Deactivate on the old site, then activate on the new one. The key stays saved after deactivating, so you can reactivate in one click.
How the license is checked
- Status is checked in the background once a day and cached for 12 hours. Storefront visits and admin pages never wait for the license server: when the saved status is out of date, an admin page view schedules a background check instead. Check again asks the server right away.
- If siteryn.com can't be reached, Pro keeps working on the last confirmed status for up to 14 days. After that, Pro features switch off until a check succeeds.
- A check sends only your license key, the product ID and your site URL.
- Pro updates appear in the normal WordPress updater while the license is active.
Before you activate: the Pro preview
Without an active license, every Pro tab shows a read-only preview, so you can explore all settings first. A banner says "Activate your license to use this feature", with Activate license and Get a license buttons. Fields are disabled, and nothing can be saved.

When a license expires
Nothing is deleted, and the Free plugin keeps working in full.
